Found this 3 years old valuable tips. i will build this using pvc foam (super easy to shape using just paper cutter) rather than piece of woods since I don't have those powertools. Using Sygic for navigating in HUD mode. Great video , thanks !!
Good idea on using foam. Make sure to paint/match it to match with the color of car's dash cap (where phone will be placed) else the border will be distracting in reflection.

Hi… Do u solder the silver frame on the silver sheet or just the frame only? After the solder process did the frame attach with the sheet? If yes how do u unattached the sheet and the frame ?
Hi Ihsan, The silver frame is NOT soldered to the sheet (by the way, it is not a silver sheet. Most likely it is steel or titanium). The sheet is just to hold the silver frame in place for soldering. The frame is also kept in place on the sheet with the wires wrapped around it. After soldering, you remove the wires and the frame comes off from the sheet easily, just pull it off. I hope this helps.

I used machine learning algorithm. But last week I tried similar feature in Adobe Photoshop 2022 and it was great. So you can try photoshop. 😀 Best wishes
